We owed Mohammad Nazeer Paktyawal. Instead, ICE arrested him in front of his children and he died in their custody. We failed him and his family.
He wasn't just an asylum seeker. Paktyawal was an Afghan special forces soldier who worked with the U.S. Army's 3rd Special Forces Group. He was evacuated on August 30, 2021, entered the U.S. legally and had a pending case with a work permit and social security number. Killed by ICE maggots.

But Donald *will not* sue Ted Lieu for defamation. Why? He's been told by lawyers that in defamation actions, truth is an absolute defense.
I know our expectations for this administration are in the basement but it is INSANE they started a war without a plan for the Strait of Hormuz.
