The first third of it is an interesting setup.

And I get the protagonist is intentionally written to be stubborn and kind of an idiot but a buck forty of bad decisions doesn’t make an enjoyable movie.

I kept him in my party for a bit of Act 1 cause I’d heard people like him but after a few interactions, I was like “no thanks 👋”

And I don’t get why people seem to love Astarion? His personality sucks imo 🤷🤷🤷

I think I maybe bought into the hype too much, like it’s an ok immersive sim but there’s better out there.

I also really dislike 5e’s action economy. It’s so arbitrary what constitutes a bonus action and for lots of classes, it just feels useless.

I’ve taken two extended breaks from the game to get back the motivation to finish it but I don’t think I’m gonna be able to do it.

Like being told an army is marching on the city, then immediately just futzing around with the circus and getting wrapped up in a murder mystery makes no sense narratively.

Acts 2 and 3 of BG3 should’ve been flipped. The narrative telling you there’s urgency and the gameplay not reflecting that is an absolute mess.

Medieval Gerard Way and Ms Murder Hobo are much less interesting villains than J Jonah Jameson too.

I assumed it meant topping, I would mark them if it said “got fucked” 🤷
