Surely he should pay back quite a bit more. Interest / inflation / the fact the stock market went up 8x since 2009....

When I ran through this course a year ago it kept bringing up the sentence "Tá an fear sa chuisneoir" for some reason.

I've wanted to visit the Butter Museum for ages but haven't gotten around to it yet since moving back here a year ago.

Events - Teagasc | Agriculture and Food Development Authority

Yeah I definitely recommend attending the farm walks - they are very insightful - this one on organic beef production but they have them for many other forms of farming, and in all parts of the country - e.g. teagasc.ie/animals/beef...

Lovely video. I went on a Teagasc Farm walk last week and Michelle and Tim from the National Biodiversity Data Centre were there, talking about pollinators, solitary bees, bumble bees, moths and more. So many kinds of bumble bees here - 21 per the poster I picked up. biodiversityireland.ie

It's a shocking story. I had to pause while watching it a few times. Tragic.

Nothing better than sneaking off to Fitzgerald's Park to balm out on a sunny afternoon and finding great live music from members of the Cork Academy of Music. #speirgorm

galwaywool.ie/blatnaid-gal... - I heard Blatnaid speak at a fashion and farming event about the travesty of the Irish woollen industries using imported wool. She might be worth connecting to about who might be making what you are searching for.

Do you know when this new bridge will be open? Does it go to a building site at the moment?

I recycle plastic like this at Lidl or tesco. They have drop off points. Dunnes don't for some reason.

It's a cracker. And it's a scientific fact that the only way to get something like that out of your head is to make sure you pass it on to someone else. So sing along until it's gone.

It's hardly useable. Especially with the scooter parked on it. With the road marking for pedestrians I'd walk towards oncoming traffic also and step aside if I needed to.

OMG every time I have gone to SOMA recently I was half fearing it would be closed given how long that construction has been going on. Glad to see it's nearly over for them.

The Reeks in sunshine.

The Reeks in sunshine.

Great view of the Reeks from the RDI Hub in Kerry yesterday. There was a massive temptation to step away for a few hours of walking in that glorious sunshine. I managed to grab an hour and got in as far as Lough Callee before returning to Cork. #Kingdom #Kerry #speirghorm

Best route, moderate hills - the additional elevation detail in Google Maps under their cycling directions

Best route, moderate hills - the additional elevation detail in Google Maps under their cycling directions

If the cycling directions are the same you can find the elevation profile and elevation gain in Google Maps.... but that's not going to be sufficient generally I imagine.

Very cool. How does the alphabet challenge work? Is the theme for L already set or do you come up with that also? If you are looking for suggestions I could suggest a few.

I was enjoying relearning Gaeilge there but it ran out of good material (tá an fear sa chuisneoir, and cá bhfuil na portaigh? must be really important sentences to know!), so I'm now hoping to see if others have good ideas for alternatives on this thread.

I'm tired of the app icon looking more and more distraught with each passing day that I ignore it. Such a dumb attempt to manipulate the user into turning it on.
