New album coming soon on Dark Entries. This will be my second LP after seven years I released Parler Musique in 2018.

Here comes the October 25th edition of BB_Only! (Berlin) hosted by me and my BB partner Brthrmidnyt with special guests Amperia and Gia in the dark dank basement of Zur Klappe (the former gay cruising toilet at Mehringdamm UBahn). It's been 2 years of this journey now!

Saturday I'm joining a few peeps including friends from Hamburg to start a new event called Leatherette. It's Folsom East here so queers in gear, dressed to the nines get reduced entry at LARK.

A steam bath of reverb, delay, and shimmering dub: Sound Bath by Coatshek, unfolds like a transcendental session somewhere between bathhouse, club floor & psychedelic trip. Against the background of violence and genocide we need to have a system for resistance built into the workflow of care and community building. No one out there in positions higher up is willing to help us and would rather us be numb and dumb to atrocities. We need Free Palestine.

This is why Honcho Campout is so important to me. We are seen here--every one of us who takes part in the experience of struggle. We add to the context and the background for why a way of doing things and interpreting things is so necessary to form better connections and relationships.

If we keep cultivating and show what we can do for the better of humanity in this little sandbox we can use this template in other parts of US and possibly the world and manifest a future that is less deadly and more loving to our kinfolk and queer siblings.

Here we are collected in rural Pennsylvania cultivating and growing ideas and inspiration from our own experiences and backgrounds to formulate a strong foundation for survival and happiness.

I saw a process of generational transfer in the potentiality for betterment seen in immigrant families but in the context of Gay and Queer prosperity.

I found myself in a very good headspace this year and wanted to pass on things I learned about myself to others. I hope I can help them unlock a bit of self-love in their lives.

I think about this whenever I'm at Honcho Campout. I think about social responsibility and care for the chosen family and new queers finding their way.

They wanted a better life and worked hard to get out of poverty so the next generation could thrive. My dad ended up passing away with nothing to his name but my brother and I got ahead in our studies and careers easier & faster than him. He and his sister paved the way.

So being in this part of Appalachia I am always reminded of the fact that my Aunt had settled in West Virginia in the late 60s after marrying an American, opening a hair Salon and bringing her whole family over from Taiwan to the US including my father.

Get more Asians on the lineup, make it a real cultural exchange. Stop extracting me for contacts--if feels like imperialism--and I'm just your personal excel sheet.

Zero care for the local scenes and the people building it. Turn it around. Book the local artists for European parties and show appreciation for their hospitality.
