Performance Reviews using Sociocracy

Sociocracy is a way of organising in teams that aims to get more done, faster, and involve everyone. In this skill-share you'll learn how to make performance reviews more supportive and effective.

Find out how they did it, and explore how workers here in Glasgow can create new worker co-ops. You can ask questions, get feedback, work through barriers. Any group can bring their own idea for a new company, which could be set up as a co-operative based on equality and democratic values.

Come along to meet and hear from care and cleaning workers from four worker co-ops - The Great Care Co-op, Leading Lives, Southside AllClean & Belfast Cleaning Society. All have created fair and democratic workplaces.

If you believe you could provide a better service than your current employwer, or have a business idea for doing it yourself, we'll be discussing setting up your own business where control and profits are shared by the workers. These businesses are called worker co-operatives.

Have you ever worked in precarious, low-waged work in care, cleaning, hospitality or agency work? Next week organisers in Glagow are hosting an event on combatting this through co-operation.

We'll be finding out how care & cleaning co-ops are rewriting workplace rules on workers' pay & conditions.
