my jason obsession is creeping back up on me (has it ever left?)

having a very bad day and planning a funeral, but i stopped by a used book store while out of town today. found the trade version of one of my favorite DC storylines for $8. sometimes it’s small things like this that remind me it’ll be okay.

when i was quite young i wanted to be the sort of artist that just posted their art and never said anything.
as you can tell, that did not work out for me because i kind of realized that's way less fun for me. i like it when my art can be a catalyst for connection.

Yessss I’ve already preordered the Stephanie Phillips issues. I dropped it from my pull list and have just been keeping tabs on the app, but I’ll happily grab her issues. And ooo that’d be so interesting to see Lizzie interact with Julia!! Time travel opens so many possibilities

I understand why they aren’t having her directly interact with her mother here, to make it more impactful for the mainline. But I wish we maybe got to see Lizzie interacting with Hippolyta her grandmother, seeing as this is a time travel story. But sigh it’s just supersons as corgis 🫩

it’s very frustrating in a way that i can’t fully articulate. she’s the daughter of wonder woman- yet she’s interacted mostly with characters outside of the ww mythos.
