That being said, when we discuss PIC, don't focus on incarcerated plp crimes (whether they are guilty or not) but the systems that exploit them and create environments to produce people getting imprisoned. In the case of America, it's our history with slavery that made prison industry a business

Let's keep it a buck and be honest that America wants free labor, and prison/detention labor wasn't just doing it for them anymore. By free labor, of course, i meant legal slavery.

Don't focus on one line take in the full context. If you cared, then you will be solidarity with Black,Indigenous, Latinx, and diable folks who are trying to fight against oppressive powers in those states instead of abandoning.

To put it blantely, this is a very white perspective. Population for marginalized folks in red states is high, and those states also have a history of voter suppression. Let's think critically and not leave behind vulnerable plp bc your way of life is now threatened
