This will likely be the case! It's not just Squawks, a lot of Nintendo Today animations end referencing a render. Could also just be based on K. Rool's Emerald Rush statue due to the lack of a render currently, though.

Over two decades since originally appearing, Ninja Kong and Ghastly King from Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat return (kinda)!
Ghastly King's design still doesn't *totally* do it for me, but Ninja Kong? Danggg, they sauced him *up!* This new model for him looks terrific. Would the other ones be similar?๐

Got crafty this year, for my daughter's 2nd Christmas I made her a full on custom, hand made DonkeyKong golden book since she got so into DK watching me play Bananza. Gonna be hard waiting a whole month to give it to her!
Mostly followed the Mario golden book's story but added a couple extra bits.
Spent the past hour moving the DK Island statues around and taking screenshots. Bananza is making me play with toys
