Today’s Nintendo Today! animation is incredible. It’s like a Donkey Kong Country micro movie, with all the kinetic flow of a great DKC level… complete with a Kritter getting his skull bopped.

This will likely be the case! It's not just Squawks, a lot of Nintendo Today animations end referencing a render. Could also just be based on K. Rool's Emerald Rush statue due to the lack of a render currently, though.

In a world where soon you'll be able to pose DK & Pauline with statues of K. Rool and Cactus King in front of the Returns treehouse... this has aged super well lol

Over two decades since originally appearing, Ninja Kong and Ghastly King from Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat return (kinda)!

Ghastly King's design still doesn't *totally* do it for me, but Ninja Kong? Danggg, they sauced him *up!* This new model for him looks terrific. Would the other ones be similar?👀

Got crafty this year, for my daughter's 2nd Christmas I made her a full on custom, hand made DonkeyKong golden book since she got so into DK watching me play Bananza. Gonna be hard waiting a whole month to give it to her!

Mostly followed the Mario golden book's story but added a couple extra bits.

Spent the past hour moving the DK Island statues around and taking screenshots. Bananza is making me play with toys

While most incarnations of DK's treehouse have a picture of Candy Kong on the wall, the movie version has a picture of Funky Kong instead. This is a subtle reference to the fact the movie version of Donkey Kong is gay
