Needing some good news today, we cut into our king cake. First slice and I get the baby! I’ll take it.

I love the Dunk & Egg series and thought the first episode was great. Pacing sets the tone that this ain’t GoT or HotD. Also, cutting from the opening strains of the original theme song to your hero projectile-shitting is genius. Well fucking done.

While I can’t stand Letterkenny, I have enjoyed the hell outta Shoresy. Season 5 just kicked off with what might be its best episode yet. If you wanna know why I love hockey, just watch that episode.

Pluribus finale spoiler-y take: Carol finally snaps out of her fantasy by not trusting her own happiness. I dunno if I’ve ever felt more connected to a character than that moment.

Made it until 9:03am, Thursday, December 18th, before I fell to Whamaggedon. Walked into the dentist’s office & was immediately hit with it.

Made the mistake of going from that phenomenal Leeds v Liverpool second-half match to the MLS Final. We are just an embarrassment to the sport in this country. Even the commentators are absolute trash.

And here the one SPOILER bit I’ll share: it uses an exchange of dialog late that’s directly from “Hard Target,” spoken by Lance Henriksen (the synthetic in Aliens) and Jean-Claude van Damme (the original actor in The Predator costume but was replaced). I literally cried out in celebration.

Predator: Badlands was even better than I’d hoped. Go see it with a crowd, on a big screen.

Plur1bus is already even better than I’d hoped but now I’m gonna be “that guy” pointing out that numeral in the name that everyone seems to be missing…

Good - now I can return to not caring about baseball again. But good on the Blue Jays - beat those stupid Dodgers now, would ya?

“Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” is my favorite GAY movie. But John Woo’s “The Killer” is a close second. Also, finally available in 4K only on Apple TV, for some reason.

Wedding no.15 is done, first time for a blood relative so had to represent Dad for it as well. Being a PK, officiating comes naturally to me, and it’s good to hear the better words of his voice at times like this. Much love to my niece & her new beau!!
