Agree and I'll die on this hill. My chronic and debilitating back pain and fatigue were chalked up to me being fat. Took years to get ALL of my proper diagnoses and treatment.
I became disabled in my early 30s due to developing an autoimmune disease. Black women have the highest rates of autoimmune disease but we face a lot of difficulty getting diagnosed and properly treated.
Disability in some form will hit damn near everyone, either through advanced age, an accident or just shit happening.
