Many thanks, Bernard. πŸ™πŸ˜ŠπŸ™Œ Yes, it is the new guitar. I sanded the bottom of the saddle to lower the action a little. Also I changed from 12 gauge strings to 10s. The truss rod may need a tweak too. It takes time to get the right sound out of a new guitar. But for now it's ok.

A close-up of a flowering Ourisia macrophylla (North Island mountain foxglove) spotted just off the trail leading up a slope of Taranaki Maunga (Mt. Egmont).

From the wiki: "Plants of this species of New Zealand foxglove are showy, perennial, large-leaved, tufted, rhizomatous herbs that are often glabrous (hairless) or sometimes hairy with non-glandular or glandular hairs. They have crenate, ovate to heart-shaped leaves. The flowers are in whorls in each node, with a regular calyx, and a large, white irregular corolla. The corolla tube is yellow with three lines of yellow hairs inside." and "Ourisia macrophylla plants are large, showy, hairy perennials with whorls of flowers with large white corollas, and three lines of yellow hairs inside the corolla tube, characters they share with another New Zealand species, O. crosbyi."

This is a black and white landscape nature photo I took of Lake Champlain from the shore in Burlington Vermont.

Elegant rays fan over the glimmering lake. Winter sun's bright reflection glows atop the right surface of Champlain and stretches left into a thin line of light. Brooding clouds, the prominent horizon line, and a textured expanse of dark waves all add contrasting layers to the image. It was an effervescent moment that paused time, and inspired my latest senryu:

i sip
a string of pearls

Fun fact: Perlage is a wine (champagne) term to describe the continuous stream of small bubbles, often called a string of pearls, that rise inside the drinking glass.

A photo of the wetlands with grasses, reeds and a single tree partially submerged in the surrounding water . There are mountains and trees in the background.

Here’s my attempt at playing "Is There Anybody Out There" from The Wall album by Pink Floyd.
I tried working out how to play it just by listening to it, so it may not be completely accurate.
