The flights and layovers always make it a long transit but this trip was very worth it.

Thank you to everyone who was really patient with me while I was gone. My mom had emergency surgery and being there to support her and help with immediate recovery made a big difference and gave me a lot of peace of mind. She's recovering well and I'm really grateful.

Good luck, I’ve ridden out a blizzard with less but that’s never ideal

I’m very thankful I can no longer tolerate journals with less than 160 gsm paper because it narrows down what I can buy so much. I feel like in the last few years the quality of the popular ones has really nose dived, ymmv.

I love it but going there does require me to carefully consider each of 1000 individual art supplies to determine whether this is the one that will heal me

I’m flying home next week for a family emergency so I’ll be reachable via email given sufficient time to respond but that’s about it. I’m probably going to push the website update - I’ll see if I can do it before I leave but if not it’ll have to wait.

We walked by some incredibly expensive stationery store a couple weeks ago (it might have even been the one you mentioned here) but thankfully I was inured to its siren song by just having visited the graphic centre and buying stationery that was instead merely overpriced

I’m really happy with my current batch of comms so I’m excited to have more of those to show. I’ve had some personal/family stuff come up since the holidays which has slowed me down a bit.

I’d like to have a couple more pieces for the website update so I’m pushing it till next Tuesday. Just wanted to give a heads up.
