text - Changes are coming to Hoopla service,

Due to a lack of sustainable core library funding from the province and the high cost of maintaining Hoopla, the following modifications are being made to our Hoopla account starting on March 1, 2026:

Change in the borrowing limit to 3 per month per patron (instead of the current limit of 5).
$3 price cap per item on all content (instead of the current limit of $4).

* Please note: The price cap is the cost to the library to borrow the book, not the borrower. The library pays a fee per borrow and we have to limit the cost of the item to $3 or less per borrow. This doesn't impact you as the borrower other than there may be fewer books to choose from. 😊

Sprinkle Kindness, #PinkShirtDay
This year’s design for CKNW Kids’ Fund Pink Shirt Day reminds us to β€˜Sprinkle Kindness’. The artwork shows a child sharing an umbrella with friends as hearts fall like rain from the sky. A playful reminder that kindness grows when it is shared.
