Is it just me or do the cars in @iracing.com's new iRacing Arcade look kind of adorable?

Switching from technology journalism to automotive journalism has resulted in a number of strange confluences over the years. This, though, is the one thatβs left me feeling some particular deja vu: A Ferrari interior available in aluminum anodized in your choice of silver, gray, or rose gold.
15.02.2026 11:31 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 4 π 0To be fair, Ferrari already had turn signal buttons in their current cars. But I don't disagree otherwise.
09.02.2026 15:13 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ferrari's first EV is called Luce, and this is what it's interior looks like. Suffice to say, it's on another level compared to any other interior I've ever seen... but is it right for a Ferrari?

08.02.2026 23:11 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A little footage from last Sunday's ice racing action. This is the finale race of the day. That's me in the blue STI. I got by in the first corner and the chase was on from then. What an epic day!

21.01.2026 18:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Life is getting tough for electric SUVs this year, but Volvo's new EX60 looks to have what it takes to keep up with the competiton. I can't wait to drive it. All the details over at @engadget.com

Drone delivery is a reality but, as is so often the case, the future is not yet widely distributed. I made a run down to suburban Dallas to get an inside look at what Zipline is serving. Spoiler alert: it was the hottest, freshest burrito I've ever had delivered.

Greetings from Stockholm, where I have just issued the worst ever pronunciation of the word "kanelbulle." Alas, it was close enough to score me this beauty, well worth the public shame.
Anyhow, I'm here to see a certain new Volvo. Much more on that tomorrow.
Never have I felt less inclined to add something to my cart, Amazon.
16.01.2026 12:43 β π 11 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Google using AI to kill the sources of information that it uses to train its AI is the short-sighted, venemous oruboros of stupidity that 2026 deserves.

Patents are still pending and thereβs still a ton of third-party testing ahead, but if Donut Labβs bold claims at CES hold up, this could be an absolutely pivotal moment in the EV era. Details on that plus the other big automotive news at CES 2026 here:

Some friendly CES newbie just asked me which hall he should go to to "see some AI".
Bless his heart.
If you love everything about the Sony Honda Mobility Afeela 1 but think it's roughly two inches too short to support your active lifestyle, have I got some good news for you -- assuming you're not looking to buy until 2029 or so...

Greetings from Las Vegas and CES 2026. Sony Honda Mobility's conference is about to kick off and there's a conspicuously empty turntable up there on stage. The Afeela 1 is about to get some company. Stay tuned... #ces2026

05.01.2026 20:19 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Uber definitely needs a "no Teslas" option.
This is for a variety of reasons, but mostly because every Tesla Uber driver I've ever had runs with regen on maximum and they have all the throttle control of an overeager jackrabbit signaling danger.
Check out the driver lineup!
31.12.2025 18:43 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Just stumbled across this in an old duffel bag, my 2003 USGP ticket, flier, and car corral parking pass. I remember being blown away by parking on the back straight of the Indy oval! $75 for premium grandstand tix was a stretch for me back then. Probably would cost 10x that for similar seating today
31.12.2025 18:43 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Whew, what a year. In 2025 I flew over 200,000 miles and wrote nearly 280,000 words worth of assignments, chasing stories and reviews all over the world. It's hard to pick favorites, but hereβs what stands out.

Finally cracking into my hardest fought souvenir from Japan, the 4K remaster of Macross: Do You Remember Love? Took me forever to find a copy in Tokyo.
Been decades since I last saw this. Let's see if I still dislike Minmei after all these years...
And a very happy Honda Days to you, my friend.
