10/10 wow factor for sure, even a decade later. But yeah, scores way lower on a usability front.

After some rummaging I found this travel mouse, but navigating through Fusion 360 with this thing is no fun.

My mouse wheel wasn't working right so I took it apart to clean it, only to realize that I needed a new rubber ring on the wheel to fix the issue.

"No problem, I can design and 3D print new one," I thought, sitting down to my computer.

At which point I realized I didn't have a mouse.

Koopa's first hike! Well, the first not in our woods, anyway. He unsurprisingly loved it. Maybe a little too much. We gotta work on that leash discipline.

Spending a week with this charmingly canary yellow Volvo EX30. Will be putting it through its paces, even even doing a little testing with the pup. I'd all goes well I'll do a little video with it before it turns into a pumpkin. What would y'all like to know?

I know I'm late to the party but I just managed to catch Together the movie before it disappeared from my local theater. I really enjoyed it. Bigtime Cronenberg vibes with a hint of Lovecraftian overtones. If that sounds like a good time, go check it out.

Lamborghini's 2025 Temerario is 907-hp hybrid heaven With a twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors, Lambo's latest is a masterpiece.

The Huracan was the first Lamborghini I ever drove, and so it's always had a special place in my heart. I was a bit nervous in testing its replacement, the Temerario. Being bigger and heavier and losing that V10 has to be a downgrade, right?

Wrong. It's epic.

This nice, light, fluffy press release underscores a more serious point: Ford has had fewer big problems with #EV + hybrid batteries than GM (with the Bolt EV recall of LG packs) or Stellantis (too numerous to list since 2016 Pacifica 'Hybrid').

Wrapping up a day spent testing the new @audiusa A6 and S6 Sportback E-Tron Quattros. (Or is it E-Trons Quattro?) As per usual I can't tell you what I think just yet, but until I can I hope you enjoy these pictures of the beautiful terrain around Santa Barbara.

Hyundai’s Ioniq 6 N offers more sound, more shifts, more smiles - Ars Technica Hyundai appears to be nailing the “make a fun electric car” brief right now.

I love that the main focus on the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N isn't speed (though it's plenty fast) nor quickness (though it is quick, too) but fun. And it looks, and sounds, like it should be plenty fun indeed.

There were so many screaming hypercars at Goodwood this week, each promising new heights of performance, yet none approaching the speed of the Rimac Nevera R, which zipped up the hill with barely a sound.

BTW since we're close friends I don't mind telling you that I broke into tears when I walked into the woods and heard the engines roaring through the forest for the first time. After watching WRC for 30 years I'd never physically been to a forest stage and I got overwhelmed.

Almost certainly the most controversial car here, the Jaguar Type 00. At @seyth.bsky.social's suggestion I went and just listened to the conversation. Amazing to hear the divide, with the older males generally mocking the thing, and the women generally enraptured.

I got a quick first look inside the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N and at its retooled engine notes. The Hyundai N boss said it was improved from the 5 N's sound based on my initial review! I'll try not to let my head get too big, but just the same, you're welcome.
