A misty woodland giving off a very haunted feeling

In the spring, Stanmer Woods is alive with bluebells and wild garlic adorning the paths.

However, once #SpookySeason rolls in, it becomes something darker and foreboding.

Credit to photographer Finn Curry for capturing the woodland at its most eerie and haunted.

That one was anything but. Kept posing for photos! They were gorgeous!

And no, this is NOT the raven I encountered today with the horse - this one in the picture I met this last summer in the Tower of London.

Today was a corvid day: first had a crow throw a stolen packet of paper hankerchiefs at my feet before taking off with it and defending it against other crows like the greatest treasure, and then a raven crossed overhead so low that I could hear the wind in its feathers with every wing beat.🐦‍⬛
