The fact that the games industry is so dead-set on disregarding Concept Art as being part of the game it helps make is eternally frustrating to me.

If the slop machine extrudes a design for you that you then force an artist to make "real", that still means there's AI generated content in the game.

Using gen ai for text and asset placeholders is not solving a problem; games have been made for decades with regular placeholders. studios using AI this way are just testing the water to see what more they can get away with - which will inevitably mean laying off skilled workers, to make worse games

Any excitement I had for this reveal just dried up seeing the news about GenAI usage in the development stages. Do better.

They do 100% phys damage, so you can guard almost everything (not the grab) - tho Guardian does it best~!

I did wake up to a brutal sore throat - probably from unloading furniture 'n stuff all day yesterday in cold, dry air (no sinus congestion or cough at least~!) - but it feels so good to be """done""" with the move.

13 days without my primary setup, I finally have my desk back, in my new room, exhausted and unloaded (not unpacked - that's another battle for another day).

Glad to be back up north; glad the hard part is finally over~
