Finally, a practical action feature on a toy
God, 3 out of 4 characters linearted on this picture and I STILL wonder if I'm gonna have it done by the end of the weekend
(The unlined fourth character exists only as a foot and 3/4 of a lower leg)
Absolutely diabolical thumbnail!
When did your obsession with hot toxic women begin
You're sick, La- err, Moe
They establish early on in Resident Evil: Vendetta that zombie is a curable condition, which makes the action sequences like this one, while rad, just a little bit morally fraught
Awww yeah, happy #PiDay everybody
Pacifica is always reason enough!
Yes, it was an entirely "holy experience" to have one of these shelves be completely useless because you used the wrong-sized alien space-bolt during assembly and exploded the screw hole, and 3 more are sagging under the weight of their incredible burdens
Kids really got nothing these days, do they
It was $399 on the 'zon last night, up to $593 when I took the screenshot, so-
...
Dammit, Amazon
But yeah, the S4U is future-proofing; absolute overkill for someone with no 3D-printing experience, right in the sweet spot for someone whose goals include printing detailed 1/6~1/12 figures.
This entire pressboard-wooden desk era was all about having 2~4 inches less space than I really needed on any given one of these surfaces. I NEVER got a feel for pull-out keyboard/mouse trays; put that shit on a stable, non-moving surface or gtfo
Nah, it's gonna need ventilation for sure; might set it up in my shed , or rig up some kind of exhaust fan I can tie into the vent I just installed for the airbrush's exhaust system
(Pretty sure I don't wanna mix those two systems, though, lest things get combustible/explodey)
All right, enough foolin' around with Amazon carts; I got more important things to do today
The local hobby shop I've been getting some of my recent kits from has a print-on-demand service for a nominal fee, but I don't know if I know 'em well enough to ask for something like, say, Adult Roll in a bikini just yet
(And yes, it dovetails with my recent passion for airbrushing; wanna print up little items/display bases for completed models, and maybe 3D print some character models themselves)
(Nowhere near pulling the trigger on this, especially since the printer alone is $150 more than it was when I took this exact same screenshot last night, but I'm starting to get the feeling I'm gonna end up with this list by the end of the year :/)
How many rabbit holes can a man find to dive headfirst down
You can BE the backseater!
Because fun, self-expression and self-embetterment do not increase shareholder value
Announcement, or threat? Works as either, really
I'm not gonna say they're just like me- as a white cis man, I am *cruising* through life compared to what they've gotta put up with- but ultimately I have a lot more in common with my trans friends than I do with anyone trying to convince me that I *don't*.
2) Actually fuckin' TALKING to trans folks. It's my great fortune to have had several trans, genderfluid and nonbinary in my online friend circle for years, and honestly, they're a classy bunch. They're just people! The only agenda they might have is getting through the friggin' day, same as me!
They were wrong about that when they applied it to homosexuality, to interracial marriage, to civil rights, to Jim Crow, to women's rights, stretching all the way back to the founding. Fuck 'em, wake me up when they're actually RIGHT about a social issue.
QPs are turned off on #lastrepost, but my advocacy for trans rights come from two places, mainly:
1) Seeing who's against it. Religious conservatives (hell, conservatives in general) act like trans rights will be the downfall of Western civilization, people marrying dogs, fuckin in public, etc.
cis folks, i'm curious for you to share answers, if you want:
what made you start caring about trans rights? who'd you know/what happened? tell me the story.
We're rootin' for you!
...wait, I mean
