The rising senior, a marine science major, landed an internship at the Kachemak Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Homer, Alas., a partnership between the University of Alaska and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Academy Award-winning actor/director Robert Redford passed away on September 16 at age 89, leaving a legacy as a Hollywood icon. His life and career are preserved at BU, where his personal scripts are kept at the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center.

At 2 am on a Sunday in March 2025, twelve scientists sat in tense silence at BU's College of Engineering lab. A spacecraft, after 40 days in space, was descending toward the moon, carrying a BU-designed telescope to capture views of Earth's magnetic field.
