I guess agree to disagree. I've always hated that guys play with broken bodies in the playoffs because it jeopardizes their health in the long-term and can end their careers early.

The fact that they fully kept him out and off the ice until after the series was over makes me think he did tweak something, and better not to let that get worse because of an urge to "tough it out" against a team that saw they'd face no consequences from the league if they went after him.

I don't think he's going to ever take his health for granted. This wasn't a game 7, we were ahead, and I'm sure the trainers and coaching staff were involved in the decision not to send him back out. I don't think this is a man who would lightly choose not to play hockey after being out for so long.

And I want a goalie who's concussion free. Is it not better to be safe than sorry with someone's long term health? In the long run, Pyotr got some time on the ice so he won't be as cold if Freddie does get seriously injured/sick/otherwise unable to play.
