i believe,,, norton is the first one to make naib experience being loved by a stranger (in the sense that they arent related.) he learns through norton that he is worthy of receiving someone else's love, and that in spite of everything, he deserves anything his soulmate can offer

yet only when he meets norton does he slowly come to realise the man is practically his soulmate. not necessarily in a romantic way, but definitely more than a "regular friendship." ... . . i love nortnaib if it wasnt obvious enough heh

i lowk think naib doesnt care much about romance either/doesnt find much interest in bonding in a much more intimate (not necessarily s3xual) way with anyone else. feelings which arent exclusively rooted in his bleak perception of his own future but idk how to explain this

+once they do realise norton's feelings are genuine. or just that he does have feelings for naib at all. naib is oblivious as hell when it comes to romantic feelings, ESPECIALLY inference

he gets pushy out of fear, thinking that people would actually be better off without him. the more he feels about somebody, the worse it gets for him

me thinks both default and inference are the most susceptible to growing pushy towards norton for the aforementioned reasons+

he still has hope when it comes to others, but when it comes to him? he believes his own future doesnt hold anything. its bleak—only cold and miserable days ahead of him

some hcs (possibly overlapping a bit w/ canon) i have for both default naib and inference in particular are um.. how naib doesnt see much meaning in his life. he can feel pretty lonely, and i believe "doesnt expect his life to last or amount to anything meaningful"

also. forgot to update but i ended up receiving my new pc earlier!! big boy is named bubo, taken from the latin for owl, which is also the name of an avian genus (genus bubo, comprised of horned owls and eagle-owls)

wanting to be more than friends with said past "crushes," yet not stepping into romance. i thought i did love them the same way, but ive been thinking anf it wasnt anywhere close enough to wjat id define as romantic feelings towards someone. moreso a secret third option

this isnt exclusively about romantic relationships or qprs, but for the romantic aspect of it, i came to realise ive only ever had a few fleeting "crushes" that are more akin to me bonding with someone strongly

2025 really is my year of self discovery bc. why am i realising just now that i never even know what love meant, nor did i actually experience it for myself until recently

the entire tomodachi series have a few different names based on the region! in japan, all tomodachi games are known as "tomodachi collection" following its eventual title (excluding the original nds game)

it is technically a tomodachi life collector edition of the n3ds, but what i meant initially was more literal in the sense that the game is known as tomodachi collection: new life in japan

i unfortunately still have to stick with one monitor screen, as its too impractical in my position having more. but perhaps in the future if theres some more hope for little old me (lmao)

its a bit ironic how i genuinely do love the horror genres, esp when mixed with paranormal or mystery, but im at heart a big scaredy car and will flinch and squeal at the slightest suspicious noise or movement

one thing i did find out playing with friends is tjat im actyaly better at dealing with horror content without freaking out if i play in-character, and said character is the literal opposite of me

someone needs to start pesterinf me till i practice bgs more. maybe itll finally be my chance to open c🌼mms so i dont go bankrupt from liking characters like naib subedar from hit game identity v
