Finally completed the emote near a boss quest in Fortnite.

That was a tedious RNG grind I could have done without. I drove around the map for several games with no luck, only to stumble across Witch Marge right near the end of a match.

I ended up playing the Simpsons Fortnite event twice and must say, this season looks really good. Very excited to see the Simpsons back in video game form.

I'm writing the script for my Fortnite x The Simpsons video already, so I can record the details as they happen.

I'm not loving engaging with Fortnite discourse tbh. It's quite difficult making sure the video doesn't turn into a rant about everything I don't like about modern online culture.

The knock back is a bit rough in Super Mario Galaxy 2 isn't it?

I will say it's a shame that the first ending to the game is so brief and unsatisfying. They fumbled that part of Silent Hill and I didn't enjoy the gameplay enough (looking at you combat) to beat it 5 times to get a proper ending.

Beat Silent Hill f. It's hard to talk about the game properly on bluesky as it's not a case of it being good or bad. I can't recommend it or tell people to avoid it if you want to play it.

It's a well polished, mess of a game filled with both great and awful ideas, executed both well and poorly.

It only took 30 years, but I've finally seen GoldenEye in the cinema.

Excellent film, so many moments that just put a smile on my face.

The VO will be rough though, I hope they can do something to make them sound better.

I'm open to a second Simpsons Movie.

Modern Simpsons isn't great but can be creative and there are good ideas for episodes, it just doesn't come together to be all that worthwhile.

Hopefully a film allows them to focus a bit more and let them give their all to make something really great.

I'm trying to find a photo of the back of the box for the Australian version of Virtual Springfield, to show that it was distributed by EA.

There was a listing on eBay with a photo, but the person deleted their account so the photo is gone.

I'm open to ideas of how to get one.

Achieved my goal and I'm now in full swing editing the Virtual Springfield video. Could end up being 2 hours but think it'll be a little bit less in the end.

I'm away the next 3 days, so will hit it hard once I'm back.

My goal is weekend is to finish editing the VO for the Virtual Springfield episode and get back to editing the full video.

It's very doable, if I can focus. I can hyper focus and edit video for hours, but audio editing? I can't go 5 minutes without distracting myself.

I hope it's not the same world design as MP3 where each location is completely separated and more linear. I guess it depends on the scope and size of the game but if a Metroid game doesn't feel like a Metroidvania then what are we doing?

Every license games from Acclaim was just capitalising on something that was popular so they must have thought Itchy & Scratchy had some fans at least. The quote there is from a marketing person, so not sure it fully explains it as there's so many other directions they could have gone in.
