Four students of LUAWMS University were allegedly abducted at Uthal Bazar by two armed vehicles at 6 o'clock today.

The students, identified as Kismat Khan (Balach), Bayan, Nasir, and Gulab Khan, are residents of Mashkia (Awaran) and Pashtiko, (Washok) districts.

The enforced disappearances of Baloch individuals are escalating daily. The Baloch nation is facing the worst forms of oppression. With every passing day, disturbing reports of extrajudicial killings and enforced disappearances emerge. Hundreds of innocent individuals and their families are being subjected to the cruel practice of enforced disappearances, and in many cases, these victims are executed. The genocide of the Baloch people is intensifying, yet human rights organizations and the media have adopted a criminal silence, as lives of Baloch do not matter to anyone. It is evident that whether we live or die makes no difference to the world. State violence has reached its peak. Today alone, in a single instance, eight Baloch individuals were forcibly disappeared from one household, leaving behind no male member, including an elderly person, Dr. Zafar, and his son, Raheem Baloch. Additionally, five of Dr. Zafar’s guests were forcibly abducted from his house. Although Dr. Zafar was later released after severe humiliation and torture, the others remain forcibly disappeared. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) expresses grave concern that despite our peaceful efforts, the genocide we resist is intensifying rapidly. We will never, and cannot, remain indifferent while our people endure such brutality. BYC will continue to strengthen and expand the resistance movement against the ongoing Baloch genocide. #EndEnforcedDisappearances #StopBalochGenocide

In the last few days, the Law Enforcement Authorities have forcibly disappeared Hatim Bizenjo, a Law student and ASI Dilwash Baloch, an airport security personnel from Karachi. Both men were detained by security persons in plainclothes while raiding their homes in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Since then their whereabouts are unknown and Police has refused to lodge their FIRs. Enforced disappearances have become rampant across Balochistan and Baloch residing in Karachi. BYC strongly condemns this targeting of the Baloch based on their identity. The State is deliberately perpetuating Baloch genocide and systematically crushing political resistance of the Baloch demanding their genuine fundamental rights. #EndEnforcedDisappearances #StopBalochGenocide
