Okay. Well, if Trump is going to attempt legal end-arounds like federalizing the NG of GOP states to send them to Dem states over the objections of governors and courts, I think the Democrats should just keep the federal government shut down indefinitely.

Dems need to hold firm. Republicans can reopen government merely by eliminating the filibuster, which they did last month for judicial confirmations. They can do this with zero Dem votes, and the Senate Dems should force them to do it. The Epstein shutdown is OWNED by Republicans, let them fix it
