By eroding trial by jury, the government is cementing its legacy as a bulldozer of our human rights.

This is the behaviour of authoritarian regimes!

The right to a jury trial is a fundamental tenet of democracy. We cannot let it be destroyed.

It’s people’s hard work, often unrecognised, that keeps things going!

We are doing this so every child has enough to eat, a roof over their head, and a sense of hope that a better future is possible.

We have a precious opportunity to build a mass movement that can transform this country.

Trial by jury is a cornerstone of our democracy and an essential safeguard against authoritarianism.

It is truly frightening that such a fundamental freedom is now under attack.

Once rights are lost, they are not easy to win back. We must resist this with all we’ve got.

Austerity 2.0. Attacks on disabled people. Arming genocide.

The Labour Party has turned a fundamental corner — and I don’t see it coming back.
