From the very beginning of this shambolic spectacle, the government has treated disabled people with complete and utter contempt.
The government's Disability Cuts Bill is disgraceful - and I will be voting against it.
The government has announced a two-tier benefits system.
Under its plans, you can keep your benefits if you are disabled now, but not if you become disabled tomorrow. How is that fair?
A reminder: The Independent Alliance stands by its own amendment, and we will not back down.
Politics is not a game. It's people's lives.
The Government's welfare cuts will have a catastrophic impact on the sick & disabled, and plunge hundreds of thousands of people into poverty.
