کوندرا: ارزش طنز را در دوران وحشت استالینیستی آموختم. آن موقع بیست ساله بودم. همیشه می‌توانستم کسی را که استالینیست نبود-کسی که نیازی نبود از او بترسم-از نوع لبخندش تشخیص دهم. حس طنز نشانه‌ای قابل‌اعتماد برای شناخت آدم‌ها بود.

چند روز پیش مردم بوکان به درستی ریختن بیرون در اعتراض به تجاوز و قتل یک کودک. زنی در شوشتر با ۱۶ گلوله توسط پدر و برادرش به قتل رسیده هیچ صدایی از کسی بلند نمی‌شه. چون تجاوز و قتل زنان طبیعی‌سازی شده.
