In a story about transformation and disguising your true self, physical change revealing interior beliefs and an incredibly pretty bishounen blonde becoming a prettier, witchier, raven haired beau I sure latched onto Howl's monster form.

Howl absolutely sparked my imagination and was one of my first significant crushes on a fictional character periodl. His transformation disturbed and disgusted me, scared me and thrilled me.
