Thanks so much, Anton! When I started this podcast I honestly wasn’t sure if anyone else would care or listen. I was just doing it for me. But it makes me extra happy to know that it’s had an impact on other people in this community that I love.

Alan and Fito are so much fun to talk to and listen to, so you should absolutely give this a listen.

I'm so glad I did this, and hope you'll give this final episode a listen when it drops Monday morning.

No guest interview this time around, just me expressing the reasons why I chose to end the podcast, reminiscing about the final RailsConf, and expressing gratitude to friends who were so supportive of me along the way.

This next episode of The Ode to RailsConf podcast was a rough one to record because it's also the final episode.

1) I’m jealous because I want to visit Japan as an adult. I lived there twice during childhood and didn’t really appreciate it (because I was a child)
2) I still fantasize about starting a company…and still have no idea what to sell in order to make money with it. So…jealousy here too.

The "detailed description" field says the character limit is 800, but won't allow the form to submit if the length is over 790 characters.

I thought I submitted to the CFP Thursday, before RailsConf ended. Just went to tweak a couple of details and had no proposal. Was able to recreate it, but it looks like there's a bug on the form.
