This fabulous book arrived yesterday and I’ve already read it pretty much from cover to cover. I normally prefer audio books and can’t think of another physical book I’ve read so comprehensively for literally decades. Congrats @graemelyons.bsky.social: a fantastic achievement.

Warning to public as stairs down to beach closed due to safety concerns The Holywell Steps, on the edge of Eastbourne, have been closed to the public, Eastbourne Borough Council announced on February 2.

(The story has received national & international coverage, with little regard for facts, e.g. “Tourists warned as popular beach in UK’s sunniest seaside town shut: Holidaymakers hoping to catch some February rays may be out of luck, after the main path down to the beach was shut” – Express online 🙄)
