That makes attacking their points with fact checkers not very effective unless the fact checkers use misinformation tactics as well. In essence people on the right have to work harder and more creatively to push their agendas as statistics and studies frustratingly arent usually on our side.

In recent years, we've witnessed ugly scenes of division and violence across towns and cities in England. Sadly, we have started to witness similar creep into Scotland and Ireland. At the root of it lies years of scapegoating - polificians and enabling, right wing media pointing the finger at minorities while ignoring the real struggles faced by the working class. Communities are breaking under the weight of poor housing, crumbling services, low-paid work, rising costs and capitalist greed. Instead of taking responsibility, those in power seek an easier target - blaming refugees, and asylum seekers for their own repeated failures. The Irish who fled famine were once met with the same hostility. Today, people escaping war, poverty and oppression face those very same suspicions and attacks. Our own club was born trom immigration, from people arriving in the east end of Glasgow with little more than hope. As Celtic supporters, it is particularly important we do not allow resentment to be furned against those now seeking safety and prosperity in our city today. Glasgow, and especially Celtic Park, should be a place of justice, inclusion and solidarity. The Trump administration has cancelled 4,304 deliveries to food banks so far this year, refusing to deliver 94 million pounds of contracted-for food. Food banks simply can’t feed people enough anymore. Millions of Americans are going hungry as a result.

In sum, the President is certainly entitled "a great level of deference," Newsom II, 141 F.4th at 1048, in his determination that he "is unable with the regular forces to execute the laws of the United States." 10 U.S.C. § 12406(3). But "a great level of deference" is not equivalent to ignoring the facts on the ground.
