But at the end of the day, it's a tutorial for beginners so I think becoming aware of when and maybe how these things break will still be useful for the future

...had different tilemap sizes -- I changed them to be uniform 17x10 grids which fixed issues with how the player spawned into the scene after a transition, which makes me think the code used to determine positions and their offsets will create problems later with more complex level designs.

The section is working on creating level transitions with Area2D boxes to swap levels. The remaining problem is a specific transition that doesn't load its corresponding scene correctly, but I think the bigger issue is maybe a oversight by the tutorial creator? It had more bugs when my scenes...

The Godot tutorials I've been working through have been a lot of fun so far and I'm learning a lot!

That being said, my code has a bug that the tutorial doesn't and this experience has introduced me to a level of insanity that has shaken the very foundations of my being.

By who? Who shot the person dead? You saw the video. We all know a federal agent shot a man dead who was prone on the ground. Also, it's not "according to officials." It's according to verified video seen with your eyes. Not saying what anyone can obviously see with their eyes is a form of lying.

What an insanely inept company. If they had any time of reverence or respect for the PoP brand, they should just give it back to @jmechner.bsky.social
