#Xai (blockchain gaming) has sued #ElonMusk’s xAI over the “XAI” mark. Per the complaint, xAI allegedly threatened to file a petition to cancel Xai’s US trademark unless Xai consented to worldwide xAI registrations. That's a classic high-pressure move in a #trademark war. 🧑🏼‍⚖️

It's not at all a new trick. In the biz we call this 'compliance by redesign'. Comply with the rules on paper, but redesign services so cashflow - and with it, the effect on third parties - remains the same. Very undesirable.
