I should clarify that @siriusxm was fully aware that I was going through months and months of appeals. They could have supported my appeal MUCH sooner, and they were not the ones who told me that they (SXM) actually had a say in the matter. I had to discover that n my own.

I also believe that companies like @siriusxm have a moral responsibility in this matter too. I had 2 colleagues who should have also been getting early screenings that could literally save their lives. But when faced with a $3500 out of pocket expense in a bad economy, they face a tough decision.

I will say that itβs absolutely wrong to shoot people on the street. Absolutely. That happened in my city and it terrifies me. But I will also say that itβs absolutely wrong of @unitedhealthcare.sa.com to let people die in the name of increasing revenue for shareholders.

I also went really deep into the weeds on UHCβs policy on colonoscopy coverage. It leaves high risk individuals under the age of 45 in a very dangerous position. Especially in our current economic situation.

It took me MONTHS to get United Health Care to cover a very necessary colonoscopy (my brother died of colon cancer). The thing people donβt talk about is that your EMPLOYER has a say in what gets covered. Ultimately, it was my employer at the time, SiriusXM, who told UHC to cover my procedure.

Organic Intelligence, or OI. This term needs to be more in the mainstream. Just like the organic vegetables I buy, I want to know if the art/media I consume is organically or artificially made.

Sigh.
