Tonight, I witnessed the opening of the Winter Olympics.

The beautiful atmosphere generated demonstrated that we can achieve a peaceful and prosperous future, if we all decide that’s what we desire.

Heard this tonight (2/2/2026) on Cerys Matthews BBC Blues Show. Brought back memories of seeing Sugar Pie in 1964, such a great artist. Just love this number ❤️❤️

Good evening, slightly late connecting tonight, but just in time to hear Clifton Chenier. What a brilliant artist, my memory of seeing in London at the American Folk Blues Festival in the 1960’s. Also lovely to hear CJ. Zardeco was my computer password in the 1990’s

Just found a photo I took of Lady Whittle (Tommy) that I took when she visited England and stayed in Farnborough Hampshire at Bob Potters International Hotel. Great memories of meeting Tommy and her daughter.

That takes me back. The times I saw them on stage. I played football (table top) with Eric Clapton in Guildford. Oh to be young again.

Cindy, that’s the artist. I still have a publication with his life story, which didn’t end well. ❤️

I was born in 1948, and so at the right age to see many of the early Blues artists in the 1960’s. Lucky 😊

An absolutely fantastic number, my childhood friend Tony had this as a B-side to “Smokestack Lighting” back in the 1960’s. I saw Howlin’ in London in the 60’s ❤️
