I was pretty much done with MAFS by the time Chris and Paige came along but they just confirmed to me, that these couples are being purposefully mismatched which again, ethically is disturbing.

I understand that ppl go on reality TV for various reasons but there are ppl who genuinely believe that they’ll find there person on these shows and I think, ethically, it’s horrible to mix ppl looking for clout and ppl looking for love. But anything for ratings i guess

I really wanna figure out the link between psychology, gender, and casting in reality TV dating/marriage shows. Because ain’t now way and psychologically speaking, all these ppl must have something in common

I personally feel like grieving sucks and I get it but when I tell y’all this person brings it up every single time, I’m not exaggerating. And I just feel like 1. Maybe we shouldn’t be talking about our moms at all but I also feel like that person shouldn’t do that every single time as well. Idk

Let me know how yall feel about this: sometimes I’ll have lunch with the same group of ppl in my office and every time we’d be having a light hearted conversation about our moms, 1 person in particular will bring up their mother’s death and how much they miss her and it instantly shifts the mood.
