Florida can now arrest trans people for going to the bathroom. Once in prison, they can be forcibly “detransitioned” through denial of medications, hair shaving, and other abuses.
The term for this is “cold pogrom.” It uses rule of law to hide the violence from the public eye and outcry.

I’m 40 years old, as of this week. I got pretty cynical in my 30s. So I’m committing my 40s to conscious optimism. Offensive kindness. Militant decency is the goal, in a neon pallet. I will greet this cyberpunk collapse with a tray of cookies and a hug.

Audio people, sell me on the DAW you use? I’m using Reaper because it’s cheap and a forever license, but it seems like there must be a better option out there.
As both a teacher and a game developer I've learned that all games are education: they must teach you how to play them, with most of the learning during play. The reverse should also be true: all education as play. But alas, due to legacy issues, this is seldom the practice for education.
