amigurumi specifically, since its a bit different from flat crochet. this video was instrumental for me!! but i definitely dont think i could have picked it up without the basics i had learned from my grandma.

once i got the basics down, i made simple blankets for a while, then i fell off for a few years. skip ahead to 2023, i got laid off and suddenly had a lot of free time on my hands, so i got back into it and have the revelation i could use youtube videos to try to teach myself
