This afternoon since lunch has been a comedy of errors. First my password for my computer expired which locked me out. Then it took me a half hour to get into my computer once I got to the office. And finally when I sent the punch time to my boss it sent for 135AM. 🙄 Like good grief!

It’s finally cooling off outside but the sun is warm coming in through the window. Perfect kind of day to curl up like a cat for a nap in a sunbeam. ☀️

That’s what my husband says too! 😆 You can’t unsee it once it’s been said.

As long as he’s still drawing breath he will lie, manipulate, & twist whatever situation he can into making himself seem like the superstar martyr. Those who know, KNOW what a piece of shit he is but for those who he’s pulled the wool over their eyes, well, it’s like the MAGA cult of bullshit.

When he finally dies I won’t be attending the services. You’re not supposed to speak ill of the dead & the people who don’t believe me now won’t change their minds when he’s gone either. So I’m just going to ignore the whole bullshit shindig & save myself the annoyance.

Anyone who has ever raved to me about what a good man my dad is.

Spoiler, he ain’t great & that’s not even scratching the surface of what sort of evil bastard he is. I just don’t have the vocabulary or the character spaces to even begin to cover how truly awful he is.

I can share where I got the patterns from if you would like. The skull is paid but the roses I found on YouTube.

I wish I could write patterns for the unconventional stuff. That’s a magic I don’t understand. I tip my hat to those who can & thank them. Still not convinced they’re not somehow witches. 😆

I do some traditional crochet but the unconventional stuff is more fun. 🤭

The fella who does that podcast is great. Nice tone & pacing to his style of narration. He also does the A Short History Of podcast which is a kind of CliffsNotes version of history on people, places, & things.

The yarn itself is doing a lot of heavy lifting. It’s self striping so I don’t have to do anything for the color changes. It just changes as you go along.

I did! But I also liked the Scotland Yard Confidential podcast so I had a sneaking suspicion this would be good as well. Was a little worried there might be overlap of cases but only maybe one or two.

Or the evil guy from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. But somehow even MORE evil looking.

This is always a frustration. Now the color change pattern is going to be off. 🫤 No one would probably know or notice but I’ll know.

At this pace I should be done with this knitted scarf sometime in February. But maybe by then we’ll have some actual cold weather instead of this 85° in October bullshit. It’s just not right. Not right at all.
