digital drawing inspired by my fic called aureate, in which zoro braids sanji’s hair while she cooks. on the drawing, they are both on their left side, zoro behind sanji as he braids her hair with a little smirk and blushed cheeks. sanji has an awed, thankful expression on her face and a little smile as well. she’s wearing a blue vest matching with her dress pants and a white button shirt, her sleeves pushed up to her elbows and smears of sea king blood on the fabric (which is the reason why she didn’t braid her hair herself, she didn’t want to get it dirty). the weather is becoming warm as they leave punk hazard, so zoro has his robe tied to his hips and no shirt on. the lighting is warm, provided by the fire of the stove, and the background is a simplified version of the thousand sunny’s kitchen.

closeup of sanji’s face. here, you can see hee freckles and the swirly pattern/scribbles i did on her hair better. i was trying to go for something a bit gustav klimt-esque, and ended up feeling more relaxed and happy while doodling, so her entire hair has this subtle look.
