In further news, my allergies are flaring up like crazy today after the testing (Face rash, itchy red eyes, runny nose, coughing, sneezing, sinus pressure, headache) and now I’m dead to the world 💀 Hopefully a couple of days of R&R will help settle things down

Soooo I got some allergy testing done….

Turns out I’m allergic to 31 of the 35 things they tested me for 😂 !!

The allergist walked out and was just like “so.. i think i might know why you’re getting chronic migraines”

We’re gonna work on getting some treatment options figured out soon.

But, since I’m incredibly wary of that since my medical history is so bad, we’re gonna start by getting some allergy testing done so that I can get some more targeted treatment, instead.

I’m also doing daily nasal irrigation and taking some new medications and a nasal spray too.

I told my doctor this and she got me in touch with a sinus specialist and I managed to get in and have them check me over

Turns out I have a severely deviated septum and that’s causing the infections and the migraines

Was told surgery would be the only option to fully fix the issue

Of course I didn’t want to do that because I was tired of being sick all the time, so I started trying different over the counter medications to see if anything worked and discovered that Sudafed (Pseudoephedrine) made my migraines go away since I was using it to treat my chronic sinus infections.

Medical updates!

So the chronic migraine medication they put me on failed and it made me way more sick, lots of nausea and vomiting to the point I couldn’t even work.

We tried switching me to a new medication, but my a-hole insurance refused to pay for anything new and insisted I ”tough it out”

The “relaxing” vacation I took this weekend wasn’t very relaxing. In fact it was actually filled with so much stress that I’m very sore from how tense I was the entire time. Apparently my jaw is also locked up and my ear aches from clenching my teeth so much. Hope y’all are feeling better than me!
