03.07.2025 17:57 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It's wild! I've been talking to advertisers that want to break into 🍁, but can only think of maybe 20 pods doing over 10k a month, including networks... not to mention, downloads are dying.
Either I'm missing something, or the industry needs a better perception of the ecosystem here!
Am I totally wrong here?
If your Canadian-focused show is seeing over 10k downloads a month, will you please let a girl know??
I'm convinced that the market of Canadian podcasts FOR Canadian audiences is stuck in a place where their shows simply cant get "big enough" to monetize.
The ad industry seems to still be focused on shows hitting 10k+ downloads a month, but our pop. just isnt big enough to hit that on a large scale
