There is someone at NPR programming the music transitions in the app and they keep sneaking epic tracks like this, Pelican, Explosions in the Sky, etc, in there. I always laugh.

But who now will judge you on your choice of strings and guitar picks?? Steve's music was like working retirement for every guitar player that couldn't make a living off music.

Don't tell the Olympics. You'll have to start doing it in the winter in an entire snowmobile suit.

Then huge BOOS as JD Vance comes on the big screen in the stadium.

Even the commentators can’t hide it…

When I first moved to Toronto in 1998, my general rule was "if it's more than 20 minutes away take the street car."

When I moved away in 2019 my rule was "it's going to take an hour if you get on the TTC." No matter where. The decline in service was unmistakable.

It's easy to have no sympathy for these people, but I think this kind of illustrates how stuck many people are trapped between their ethics and just keeping their head above water.

Sneaks never ceases to amaze. For example, if you had told me the floor upstairs could support this kind of stuff, I would have never believed you.

I would have fully expected a bunch of sweaty wrestler butts landing on my nachos downstairs.
