It was a privilege to witness a very moving ceremony on Parliament Hill to raise the Survivors’ Flag, which honours brave survivors and the thousands of children who never returned home from residential schools. 🧡

There are many lawful and appropriate ways to express your views. There is no “freedom of hate” in Canada.

We all need to “fight like hell” to protect our fundamental freedoms and inalienable human rights.

To further compliment this bill, municipalities should also consider enacting their own bubble zone legislation that bans protests 100m from all schools, churches, cultural centres, recreational facilities, hospitals & libraries.

This is the most comprehensive way to keep communities safe.
