This “concert” should not be allowed to be held at any public owned facility, let alone the Alberta Legislature. Pull the permit like other cities have done.

Alberta's transgender ban in women's sports won't apply to out-of-province athletes | CBC News Alberta is rolling out new regulations this fall banning transgender athletes from playing women's sports, but the province will still welcome out-of-province transgender competitors.

Not only with this ban be challenged in court, all sporting associations should refuse to host national or international sporting events in Alberta. Sport must include everyone. Stop the discrimination and injustice.

School librarians are smart people. They will follow the MO as it is written not how some wish it to be interpreted.

Is the MO needed, no. It’s a red herring. Most School libraries already have policies in place for objectionable books/content.

The wording in the regulations is important and that’s what any court challenge will be based upon. Nothing in the order bans 2SLGBTQ+ content. School libraries are free to continue what they do best. Ensure children see themselves represented in literature.

Students need to be able to learn about their bodies and those of others. This is what helps prevent abuse and promotes healthy relationships.

A major concern is how this MO limits access to comprehensive sexual health education resources in school libraries, which can be an important source of trusted information.

Good to see that NOTHING in this Ministerial Order will impact a students ability to learn about 2SLGBTQ+ identities at all school libraries, regardless of grade.
