Genuinely what led to the biggest boom of creative motivation I've had in years, let to Scout being created, I haven't stopped thinking about the ending since I finished it and just...it's a book about gay furries what more do I have to say?

A pleasure to make your acquaintance!” The guard seemed overly chipper and excited, but I also sensed a touch of nervousness. “You would be correct,” I replied, trying to lower my voice like my father’s. Still being a kit, this sounded rather silly. “And you are?” “Ah, I’m Ajax, a member of the Fennec’s Finest!” He held up his paw in a proud salute. “I see, I don’t believe we’ve met before?” I spoke in my normal voice, instead of trying to lower it. “Are you new?” “Yes Prince Scout, today is my first day on post, and I was assigned to guard the entry way to the flower bed!” Perfect. “Ah, understandable! Well Ajax, it was very nice to meet you, however I must head off,” I attempted to walk past him, before he stepped partially into my way. “U-um, forgive me Prince, however I don’t believe you’re allowed into here.” He was right, but I needed him to think he was wrong. “Oh? On what authority?” “The King, your father.” “Yes, my father,” My ears pinned back on my head. “My father who I talk to much more than you do, and who will be very upset if he hears that one of his new recruits tried to stop his son from going into the flower garden. That father?” His ears fell. “B-but he said-” “Trust me, I’m much more keen to know what my father said and what he meant than someone on their first day. Understood?” “Y-yes Prince…” “Very well. Then please step out of my way.” “Understood, apologies for the misunderstanding…” “It’s okay,” I smiled, my ears returning to their giant upright state. “Since it’s your first day, my father will hear none of this.” And with that, I was past the one obstacle between me and the outer walls.
