i don’t usually get so negative and personal here, but sometimes it just sorta gets to me i suppose, and i know ill be ok ultimately but it sucks being in this mindset where i cant seem to find the motivation do a lot of the stuff that’d help me get out of it!

it’s just so hard to contend with all the awful stuff that’s happening in the world, yknow? especially when so much of it hits so close to home for me at least, being someone who wants to (and is actively studying to) do creative work for a living!

especially with the plans i have for my future and all, a lot of recent news and the ever encroaching tide of AI has me feeling pretty bleak about the future i suppose, and feeling the need for a bit of escapism more than ever

so i just found out that apparently there are now commands in vanilla minecraft to change your size (and a ton of other parameters too), and that’s such a good addition?? haven’t played in ages but getting to actually be a lil smol critter is a lot of fun it turns out!!

i mean true, that’s also part of why i love the game so much, but unlike most others, reflecting just doesn’t quite capture that magic of the first playthrough to me! and hey, if ya do end up giving it another try next week, just let me know!

true yeah, would love to see ya get back into it sometime soon if it works out! but yeah that makes sense, it is nice to have the whole mystery unraveled for a game like that but the process of figuring it out with outer wilds was something special to me!

honestly yeah, first playthroughs are special but so is all the time spent with a game after that, dissecting, mastering, analyzing, etc! that said i’ll still always wish i could play outer wilds for the first time again, it’s truly special the first time around more than any other game i’ve played

so this might not be its vibe but i do have a big plush roo caretaker sona!! and it will put you in its pouch, at the very least
