Yes. Yesterday’s win was really amazing.

Amazing rider and former youth rider at my club (not while I coached - I can’t claim any credit).

Fem is a wonderful bike rider. But I simply hope she gets well and is okay. She can come back stronger if she wants or she can just do something else. All the very best Fem.

Still rate this as the most unpredictable one day race & that’s because of the “tenderising” that happens before the cooking. Perfect!

When I wake up tomorrow and Eurosport has gone, a little bit of me will never be the same again. I go right back to the days of David Duffield. I have TNT, but I doubt it will ever have the charm and the “niche” feel of Eurosport.

I mean, I’ve literally never heard of a chayote. So no clue at all what you could do with it. You’ll have to do regular updates.

Already plotting an evil plan which inch by inch will see her win the world champs next year by around 1/2 a metre. Ruthless.

There is historical precedent for two countries having peace talks without the subject of their talks being present. Chamberlain (UK) & Hitler (Germany) did that over the Sudetenland (Czechoslovakia). Chamberlain returned home triumphant & it all turned out really well I think.

I just think women’s races often have more riders willing to have a pop at something big & Cipressa particularly is an ideal platform for Kopecky (to be obvious) or Vollering to get away and either not come back or be brought back and then open it up to others.

Just thinking 😂 or, or, or - symbolises what I love about this race. It’s so unpredictable.

What if Cipressa & Poggio break things up so much that the descent will be less significant than we think - because I think there’s a likelihood of that.

It would be brilliant. The best possible outcome.

I think Cipressa & Poggio will be even more exciting & less predictable in the women’s race.

If she rides it, someone like Kristen Faulkner could be a big threat though.

It absolutely is. So many competitive races. So many stories. Fantastic!

Well if she helped Marianne win MSR (such a wonderful & unpredictable race), that would be a dream wouldn’t it?
