Until his phone screen lights up atop the night stand, illuminating a collection of what appear to be. Clown dolls surrounding it. Ghost brings a finger to his brow, looking slightly exasperated. Reaching across he drags his phone to view. He is smiling under his mask but that's between you and me. TXT Convo with Soap as follows. (i fucked up the times here don't look at that lololol its supposed to be like.. 11pm when Soap and Ghost end up going to their respective rooms to sleep while waiting to be exfilled or however the hell that works. And then Soap wakes up at 3:33 because reasons) Soap: I can't say I'm enjoying our accommodations. Even if you picked the worst one. Ghost: Get some rest Soap: Fat chance Ghost: You'll be alright Soap: Easy for you to say! You must feel right at home! Ghost: Har de fuckin har. SLEEP LATER Soap: Lt. I heard something... Soap: I saw you typing. (Ghost absolutely started saying 'coming' but then he realized he didn't want to sound that quick to give in) Ghost: What you on about?

Ghost taps with one finger to reply, all caps while Soap rapid fires S: COULD BE COMPRIMISED S: WE SHOULD CHECK- G: NEGATIVE (hes tryin to be chill, de escalate...) Soaps PLEASE breaks the 4th Wall as his fist emerges from Ghosts phone screen. Soap is then nose to screen with his own phone, sweating and breathing heavily. Ghost sighs, sitting up in bed, ready to sooth his poor likely concussed sergeant. The wide shot reveals that his 'choice' in rooms was the clown filled one. (shout out to Bozers who helped me with all these clowns LOLOLOL)

As Ghost leaves The Clwon Room(TM) muttering a "shambolic" to these chain of events, through a weird choice of a bead curtain. The dolls eyes follow his exit.

Jolted still in his tracks upon hearing an unexpected, QUACK. Ghost was making his way down the hall, and he has to take a second to buffer, confused and slightly concerned. He carefully asks after Soap, peeking in around his door. Only to see Soap crouched on the floor, pistol trained upon a wee jester looking doll sitting in a cuck chair. He goes WHUYH before removing his finger from the trigger seeing Ghost, bec man has discipline. Soaps room looks to be a sad attempt at 'Victorian doll central' and a homage to The Little Lad. Ghost peeking in from the door, Im sure solider man would have entered differently but listen they're tired. And I wanted to draw his ass ok im a simple woman.

The continuation of the last comic! Soap is at his checkup for his leg. Two weeks have passed since Ghost has been declared MIA, presumed KIA Doc: "Your leg looks good, Sergeant MacTavish! We'll keep the brace off and you can return to light duty in the morning but make sure you keep using the crutches. You should really get some more sleep as well. And I hear you haven't been eating enough, that needs to change. Doctor's orders." Soap looks very tired. Gaz bursts through the door Gaz: "SOAP!"

Soap: "I'm not in the mood, Gaz.." Gaz: "He's back" Soap: "..What?" Gaz: "Ghost. They airlifted him in an hour ago, he's in medical. He's alive, mate. Let's go" Soap stands Doc: "Now just wait a minute-"

Soap and Gaz are running down the hall Doc: "Your crutches-" Soap: "They found him??" Gaz: "He found them, apparently. Crazy bastard dragged himself to a nearby outpost, I'm not sure what happened" Doc (at medical): "I'm sorry Sir but I can't let you through. Only authorized personnel and family beyond this point-" Soap: "I'm his HUSBAND. I'm listed as his next of kin, you can check his file. Now MOVE and tell me what I need to know"

Doc: "R-right! He's in room 208" Gaz, staying behind: "Good luck!" Doc: "The team on-site was able to stop his bleeding but we were told he coded once during surgery. He's recovered enough to be moved at his request. He has several fractured ribs, a hemothorax and multiple lacerations. He should make a full recovery but he's being monitored just to be safe. We had to lightly sedate him since he kept trying to get up and leave." Soap: "that sounds like Ghost, alright" Doc: "You're "Johnny", I assume?" Soap: "Yea, I am.." Soap begins to open the room door Soap: "Thanks, doc" Doc: "Right! I'll leave you-" The door slams Doc: "...to it"
