*Armed Joy @ArmedJoy Follow The whole collection of "humans are space orcs" short stories are some of my favorites because they invert the sci-fi trope of why humans are unique and successful from the usual "determination" stuff. Instead what makes us unique is our unhinged willingness to be self destructive. Other races might accidently drive themselves to extinction, but only humans would hover their hand over the button that'll kill themselves conciously and willingly. underneath is a drawing of a rugged man in front of aliens in the future
