Predicting early onset of hypertension, though extremely relevant has remained an elusive problem. Traditional biomarker approaches often fail. Machine Learning over clinical and social features in a cohort proved to be a good alternative.

For me, the easiest way to get intuition on entropy is “uncertainty”: if something always happens, I can “predict it” with no uncertainty, the same when something is impossible. Uncertainty in my prediction is larger in other scenarios. It is largest when there is a lot of equally likely outcomes.
