It reminds me of when I'm deep in the throes of a hyperfixation. It becomes physically unbearable to do anything except satisfy the fixation - even making a sandwich feels like raking myself over a cheese grater.

finally tackling #vampsim 's design document and god I know I need to do this but I can't help it - when I want to work on the game it feels sooooo bad to just be... writing down ideas instead. I don't WANT to write down ideas. I want to MAKE them. It's unbearable.
