Tamale vendors being kidnapped off of the street doesn't mean flooding the food bank with tamale and then posting it on social media for attention.

What you're never going to see is all the tamale being thrown out within days for food safety issues when they need to make room for what people need.

I had something similar to that happen once when I tried to fry dough in some oil using a pan on a stovetop....

The oil didn't catch or spread any fire but it made a bloody mess.

There was an entire Last Week Tonight episode on food banks and misconceptions that they want food donations when they absolutely do not and prefer cash so they can manage their own inventories.

All it does is flood their inventory with things they don't need and make it wildly inconsistent.

I don't like the ICE situation and I'm with the protesters. I went to no kings.

But what people need from a food bank isn't fast food. They need food they can put in their fridge and healthy options. Giving out street vendor food in a fridge isn't as useful as a bag of fresh groceries.

They definitely aren't buying out food vendors so they can go home and be safe and most food banks would be a little cross with people who think dropping off a heaping helping of prepared fast food in a fridge is gonna help

A) Spoils.
B) Isn't healthy.
C) Isn't what food banks need.

The love shack in Chicago is listed as a food bank. Street vendor food isn't remotely useful for long term food banks anyway. Cash is.

I found out what it was! The other medication they swapped me to has the same side effects. Pain is slowly but surely disappearing after going off it.

They fucked me up the whole time and I had to go off the new meds they gave me on my own just to find out. 🤡
